What can I do with my Navigation Licence?
You can govern power or sailing boats up to 6 meters

What requirements and documentation are needed to obtain the Navigation Licence?
- Be over 18 years old or over 16 years old with parental authorization
- Bring the original valid DNI (NIE or Passport)
- Provide a nautical medical certificate. You can get at any driver recognition centre just like the one for the car
- Attend the theoretical course and carry out the practices
How long does it take to get the Navigation Licence (Licencia de Navegación – Titulín)?
You can get the title in a morning in the Port of Mataró.
The title consists of 2h theory taught on the same boat and 4h of navigation practice where we will learn:
- Essential Knots.
- Docking and undocking.
- Manoeuvres to refuel at the petrol station.
- Passage priority between boats.
- Anchoring techniques.
- Maritime buoyage (buoys).
- Radio basic knowledge.
- How to act in case of emergency at sea.
- Learn how to give instructions to the crew.
How long does it take to receive my official title?
In about 10 days you will have your official Navigation Licence (Licencia de Navegación – Titulín)
What can I do if I need my official title in less than 10 days?
If you are in a hurry and need it sooner, you can obtain your title in less than 72h with the express processing for 20€. On the same day of the course, you will only have to provide the nautical medical certificate.
You can opt for express processing when making the payment through the web at the same time as purchasing your Navigation Licence.
